Melbourne Cup Lunch

11.00am - 3.00pm, $120.00 per guest

Enjoy an afternoon of entertainment, fashion, food and fun at Fraser’s Restaurant.

We have sweepstakes, sensational prizes all afternoon including prizes for the best dressed Male and female and also best hat, a fashion parade featuring clothing from The Colonnade Subiaco, our entertaining MC for the day, local cabaret performer/event manager/singer Darlene Gianoli, who will also be performing live music throughout the afternoon. There will also be gift bags for all guests.


Luncheon Menu

Turkish bread with hummus and olives

Entrée

Apple wood smoked ocean trout with toasted ciabatta, fennel and apple salad, organic lime oil

Or

Pan-fried gnocchi with roast tomato and pepper sauce;

rocket and parmesan
or
Crisp duck confit with bean sprout salad; tamarind syrup

Main

Breast of chicken with prosciutto;

white bean, preserved lemon and fetta

Or

Roast fillet of beef with grilled field mushroom;

mushroom and tarragon sauce and salt roast potatoes
or

Grilled Atlantic salmon fillet on black lentils;

apple and yoghurt remoulade

all mains served with:

Cos lettuce; caesar salad

Dessert

Slow baked pineapple in palm sugar; vanilla bean ice cream

Meringue with Strawberries and marscapone cream
